- Mycelium Dinners | Global Impact Alliance
MYCELIUM DINNERS Rooted Stories. Shared Tables. A Mycelium Dinner is an intimate gathering of up to 8 people, each bringing a small, shareable dish — and a story. The dish you bring is more than food; it’s a thread from your roots: a memory, a culture, an ingredient, or a person who once nourished you. As we move through an 8-course meal, each person becomes both host and guest, taking turns to share their dish and the story it carries. We listen deeply. We connect through the senses — taste, scent, voice, presence. This is not about performance or perfection. It’s about honoring where we come from, and weaving a table of belonging, dish by dish, story by story. Each dinner is also a space for action: the initiator selects one of GIA’s projects to briefly present and fundraise for, inviting guests to join hands and contribute toward wise, grounded change. Host a Mycelium Dinner in your home, garden, or shared space — and watch how quickly strangers become kin, and stories become seeds for a new way forward. IMPRESSIONS Photos at the Co-Creation Loft , Berlin READY TO HOST? Let’s grow a global web of story-rich dinners What if we made it one Mycelium Dinner every week? That’s 52 moments of deep connection in a year. 52 chances to gather, listen, share, and shift something real. Now imagine 100 dinner hosts across the world doing the same — that’s over 5,000 dinners a year. Thousands of stories told, thousands of roots honored, thousands of small dishes shared. And thousands of euros raised — not just for food, but for Indigenous-led projects, for community healing, for wise action. Can we weave this global mycelium web — one dinner at a time? You don’t need to be a chef. You just need a table, a few chairs, and the willingness to host from the heart. Be the spark — host a Mycelium Dinner in your community. Become a host

Partners Aligned Become one A fractal of shared purpose Co-creating, co-weaving and co-evolving In nature, a fractal reveals how every part reflects the whole—each pattern unique, yet connected, expanding in ever-deepening complexity and beauty. This is the spirit of partnership at GIA. Our partners are aligned in vision, diverse in form. They bring their unique angles—financial expertise, technological innovation, regenerative land practices, healing arts, education, and more—to co-create a wiser, more compassionate future. We believe that no single organization holds all the answers. But together, through dialogue, trust, and shared action, we can reveal powerful, integrated solutions. Partnerships at GIA are not transactional—they are alive, based on mutual respect, co-learning, and long-term commitment to planetary flourishing. We are currently in conversation with aligned partners who support the GIA ecosystem with resources, insight, and care. As we grow, so too does the fractal - organically, beautifully, purposefully. Wisdom Council Weaving bridges - between the modern world and indigenous wisdom GIAs wisdom council consists of indigenous Elders and whenever possible the person they chose from the next generation to be their successor in carrying and embodying their wisdom tradition. We have a special and personal connect to these Elders and aim to support the spreading of their wisdom as per their wishes, connect them to Elders from other traditions and work with them to co-develop and implement projects in and for their communities. Our approach is one of partnership as we have much to learn from and give to each other. Ancient wisdom traditions can guide the modern world to evolve into an Age of Wisdom. And the modern world can support indigenous communities with the willingness to learn and listen, and with consciously applied capital, technology and administrative expertise we can jointly develop, realise and own projects that allow to preserve biodiversity, the essence of indigenous culture while healing old wounds and empowering indigenous communities. WISDOM PIONEERS Visionary minds manifesting the shift Pathfinders to an Age of Wisdom Pioneers are individuals and organisations paving the way to an Age of Wisdom by focusing on most essential ingredients: inner transformation & systemic change. There have always been people ahead of their time , not swimming along in the main river of tradition or trends but going deeper and beyond what is considered the norm. They sense the future, and are the pathfinders that ease the way for others; people who dare to follow their hearts, do not mind taking risks, and are often called utopians and unrealistic. They are extraordinary minds who support the inner shift and build the systemic architecture - for the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible. The world developed due to such pioneers . Of these we now need a specific type: Wise ones. These wisdom pioneers create from the inside out, hold a holistic view and apply system thinking. They do not scare away from exploring the inner and outer realms of what is possible and show extraordinary creativity, resilience and capability in communicating and cooperating with their immediate and wider ecosystem to realise their vision. They do this to protect Mother Earth, dismantle power structures, eradicate exploitation and a destructive economic and financial system, to enable collaboration and the raising of consciousness of the many. Through this, they establish a platform for the Age of Wisdom to emerge. Their wisdom and conscious action are the seeds we need as a species to flourish . Path of Action Shaping the Age of Wisdom Get involved Shaping the Age of Wisdom From qu ick fixes to conscious creation Everything we create, we imagine first. Everything we do, we either think it first and consciously decide to go for it or we act out of impulse, habit, instinct. These impulses, habits and instincts are old, based on our past experiences and ultimately driven by our survival instinct and the seeking to avoid pain and gain instant pleasure. Conscious action is action based on a conscious decision after having thought it through holistically, the effects now and generations to come, the impact on the immediate surrounding and its stakeholders, as well as on the wider ecosystem. It is action based not only on our brain´s knowledge but also aligned with our innate wisdom and the laws of nature. Conscious action means to act with a systems view , to see the fractal nature and interdependencies of all beings and elements and adapting as and when the system changes. Conscious action is mimicking nature and creating anew moment to moment as new properties emerge. It is truly innovative by creating based on an expanded consciousness and by wisely integrating natural laws, asking all senses and involving all stakeholders. Conscious action is not going for quick fixes but for healthy growth, resiliency, and a systemic change that benefits all life . We create, co-create and support conscious action projects that are stepping stones on the path towards an Age of Wisdom. - Salons | Global Impact Alliance
Photo made at the Co-Creation Loft in Berlin WISDOM SALONS Wisdom Salons is a format in which we explore through conversations, deep listening circles and inquiry exercises what it means and what it takes to live a life of wisdom. How do we build a wise society based on an economic system there to protect all life? What are the blind spots to look at, the interest and fears behind unhealthy patterns - in our personal lives and current culture and systems. And how do we unlock our inner knowing, and make it and the timeless wisdom of nature applicable for a flourishing life on this planet? Our Wisdom Salons are an invitation to deeply connect with others, and to sense into ways of connecting to our own wisdom and making it a guiding force in our everyday lives . SPEAKERS Speakers at our Wisdom Salons are Wisdom Keepers from various traditions. They are Indigenous and non-Indigenous leaders, activists, shamans and other wise beings who have studied their craft or subject in depths and walk the talk . For us to take inspiration, ask questions, and develop our individual answers. Here are a few of ou speakers: Satish Kumar is a former Jain monk and most known for being an activist and inspiring speaker. he is the editor emeritus of the "Resurgence & Ecologist" magazine and has founded the renowned Schumacher College in South Devon, UK. We spent an evening with him, conversing about wisdom and exploring the art of living a life full of "elegant simplicity". Gabrielle Garcia is a shaman from Chihuahua, Mexico. She is a descendant of the Comanches - the Indigenous people of North America. Gabrielle is a medicine woman who works with various ancient techniques: plant and animal medicine, shamanic knife, fire, and energy. She is leading women's circles, cacao ceremonies, ancestral healing sessions and circles of rapé (sacred tobacco used in Indigenous ceremonies). We have spent two evenings with her, exploring wisdom from the Indigenous women's perspective and sharing a beautiful cacao ceremony with Gabrielle. We also spent an evening with modern mystic Itay Ganot , master of the art of ritual, a medium, shamanic healer, multidisciplinary artist, founder of Modern Mystic Arts and creator of „the Field“. We explored with him his journey from being in theatre to now holding deeply transformative rituals, his insights into Kabbalah, and how this Wisdom Tradition sees our current times. We looked into what each of us can do to grow into an “Age of Wisdom”. We made a deep dive into what the next "Field" will all be about, learned about the art of ritual, how a body can be stronger than any medicinal plant in your healing process, and about healing trauma through progressive tools.
